Job Summary: The Logistics / Transportation Coordinator is responsible for managing the coordination, booking and overall execution of transportation lanes. Core Duties Coordinate with warehouse, sales and support teams to ensure outbound / inbound freight is properly bid and correct carriers are being selected based on cost and customer expectations. Optimize transport planning in the most efficient way for customers and internal stakeholders. Provide analysis and recommendations specific to transportation spend. Generate and maintain relationships, including rate negotiations, with existing and new 3rd party carriers.
