About this role

Audition repertoire: 1 st Movement with cadenza from either of the following works: Dittersdorf: Double Bass Concerto Nr 2 or Vanhal: Double Bass Concerto 1 st and 2 nd Movement from either of the following works: Bottesini: Double Bass Concerto Nr 2 or Koussevitzky: Double Bass Concerto Orchestral and chamber music assignments to be announced after the closing date for applications Please note the audition repertoire must be performed on an instrument with orchestral tuning. Auditions and application period: The auditions will be held at the Helsinki Music Centre on October 22 and 23, 2026 from 9.00 onwards.
