Volunteer Description: Volunteers offer help to patients, families, and Caregivers in the Children’s Procedure Center/Imaging Department. Position is unpaid volunteer service. Medical Imaging and the Children’s Procedure Center (CPC) has a combined waiting room but branches off into two different spaces. Medical Imaging is a very busy department that serves both inpatient and outpatient families. Caregivers in Medical Imaging are very excited for volunteers to help with many tasks, including playing with children, keeping them up to date on family wait times, and helping staff as needed. The Children’s Procedure Center, or CPC, is a department where children come for same-day procedures (such as sedated dental procedures, sedated x-rays, etc.).…
