Job Description Job summary Operates extrusion equipment to produce rolls of plastic film. Sets up and adjusts equipment per specifications, feeds film through series of rollers and secondary equipment to winders. Ensure proper width, gauge, length, tension, weight, and other properties, inspect for quality. Completes final packaging and labeling. Enters production in system. Summary of essential job functions Operates machine to extrude thermoplastic materials and manufacture blown (packaging) film according to specifications: Operates machine and may adjust controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings, and temperature; and synchronizes speed of extrusion with pulling rolls.…
