About this role
Position Purpose:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the production floor though supervision, development and training of the production team. Also responsible for the efficient movement of product through the plant with a focus on quality and timeliness.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Tasks related to this position may vary and are not limited to those listed below:
• Follows and enforces established safety rules, ISO standards policies and procedures at all times
• Directs supervision of production staff including recruiting, selecting, training and developing associates through coaching and disciplinary actions
• Uses a Customer Driven approach to achieve KPI targets and engage associates in the improvement process (i.e. production quality, output, processes and efficiencies)…
