Summary Job Description: Job Description Nursing Assistant – Mother/Baby Unit Location: Baptist Health Lexington – Lexington, KY Schedule: Part-time | 3rd Shift (Nights) | 12-hour shifts | 2 days per week UNIT OVERVIEW: The Baptist Health Lexington Mother/Baby Unit is comprised of 42 private rooms and is staffed by skilled and compassionate nurses who specialize in providing a high level of patient-centered postpartum care for both Mom and baby. Our newborn nursery is staffed by two Newborn Assessment Nurses (NANs), and families receive breastfeeding guidance from staff along with knowledgeable certified lactation consultants. Many members of the team have received extra training and certification in maternal and newborn care.…
