Summary Job Description: Unit Description: 5F is the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) primarily serving as an Observation Unit with 29 telemetry beds. Primary patient population is cardiac, medicine, and pre and post cardiac procedures. Patients are predominantly placed from the ED , Cath Lab, and Direct Admissions that meet CDU criteria. Shift: Part Time, Nights Job Description: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member: Provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures Performs routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
