About this role

MEDHOST, a division of Harris; is seeking a Credit Balance Specialist who will analyze credit balances to determine their cause, facilitate account resolution, and post refunds as needed. The position requires professional Customer interaction and adherence to MEDTEAM best practice methodologies. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in the US in the Central timezone. Wage: $18 - $25/hr What your impact will be: Responsible for analyzing insurance and patient payments posted to patient accounts to determine causes of credit balances. Understands all aspects of payor contracts in terms of payments and refunds. Utilizes appropriate software and reporting to identify credit balances and determine action for refunding.…
