POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Associate Director of Specialty Pharmacy, leads and supports ambulatory specialty pharmacy services and team members across BMC clinics. Responsible for the continuous development and enhancement of ambulatory pharmacy programs and ensures that the operational and clinical aspects of practice areas are in compliance with department policies and procedures, department mission and value statements, hospital core beliefs as well as any accreditation bodies, federal, or state regulations. In addition, ensures optimum patient outcomes related to medication use by leading ambulatory and specialty pharmacists through the prevention and resolution of drug-related issues.
