Job Description: Position Purpose: The Medical Laboratory Technician will provide phlebotomy, biological sample processing, and laboratory technician services for clinical research studies involving substance use. The primary functions of this position are to collect blood and other biological samples from research participants. They will be responsible for labeling, processing, and storing biological samples within the laboratory. They will conduct some assays within the laboratory, ship some samples to external laboratories for assays, and transport some samples to local biological repositories for long-term storage.
