About this role

Dr. Seiji Shibata is seeking a part-time (80% FTE) Research Lab Technician I to join his lab in the Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. We are investigating the degenerative and regenerative processes of the mouse auditory nerve. We aim to regenerate the auditory nerve through direct reprogramming using gene therapy. Experience with mice handling, the use of antibodies (eg. western blots) and with standard molecular biology techniques (such as PCR amplification, DNA extraction, and gel electrophoresis) is preferred. Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.…
