Job Description: The Safety and Compliance Specialist provides oversight for increasing safety and compliance at the landfill and all County customer convenience centers. The position manages projects related to safety improvements at the landfill and customer convenience centers, conducts site visits to identify potential risks and ensure regulatory compliance, and ensures the Division follows all relevant safety regulations. The Safety and Compliance Specialist tracks regulatory changes, maintains and updates Standard Operating Procedures, and promotes awareness of safety and compliance protocols to Division employees through training and informational materials.…
