SUMMARY Performs routine laboratory analysis of pressurized petroleum crude oil and natural gas in a PVT (Pressure, Volume, Temperature) laboratory environment. Conducts all aspects of PVT lab work under close supervision, including sample QC, pressurized transfers, saturation pressure measurements, flash separations, data reporting, and others, and assists coworkers in the same. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Performs all aspects of PVT studies such as recombination, PV relations, differential liberations, constant volume depletions, viscosity measurement, and others. Uses basic hand tools properly and safely to make connections to valves and laboratory equipment and works safely and effectively with pressurized petroleum reservoir fluids.
