Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary This is a pediatric neurology genetic counselor position. Works as members of the WUSM healthcare team, providing genetic counseling/education for patients and families including identifying, ordering, and coordinating genetic laboratory tests and results disclosure as appropriate for the genetic assessment. Integrates genetic laboratory test results and other diagnostic studies with personal and family medical history to assess and communicate genetic risk factors and clinical implications. Able to work independently, and with other providers, such as medical geneticists.
