Mission Brief
The Controls & Automation Technician is part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and upgrading Isar Aerospace’s engine test facility located at Esrange in the Swedish Arctic. The role encompasses responsibility for the test facility's electrical system, including schematic design, construction, commissioning, and operational troubleshooting.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
Wire and commission test facility electrical and pneumatic elements of automated control systems, including sensors, actuators, and controls panels and cabinets
Perform basic upgrades and troubleshooting on the facility PLC system
Prepare engines and related subsystems for development and flight testing
