Course Description: This course will explore how Latin American women’s participation in society has served as a catalyst for social and political change. Students will engage with the works of influential writers and activists such as Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Isabel Allende, Rigoberta Menchú, and others, to examine the perspectives, experiences, and values of women across Latin America.
