The Opportunity Lesley University's Threshold Program is seeking a highly qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: Disability and Community Activism; Fall Semester 2026; In-person, On-Campus. The two sections available are: Wednesdays, 11:10 a.m. – 12:25 p.m. Wednesdays, 12:55 p.m. – 2:10 p.m. Candidates must also be available to participate in virtual program staff meetings on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Course Description: This course introduces first-year students in the Threshold Program to the history of disability rights and community activism in the United States. Students examine the disability rights movement, key federal disability legislation, disability identity and pride, and the contributions of influential disability advocates.…
