ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES R ooms patients, collects assessment data and prepares patient according to specific need. Collects patient data and documents in the medical record. Prepares and maintains patient charts. Assists in examination, treatment and other clinic procedures . Administers injections and medications as ordered and directed. Reviews physician's orders, lab requests, or follow-up needs with patient. Assist s with laboratory procedures, screening tests and QI projects Answers telephone and either responds to inquiry or directs caller to appropriate personnel for triage Documents according to standards of care.
