Salary Range: Job Description Summary Laborantinnen und Laboranten der Fachrichtung Biologie erforschen und entwickeln neue Medikamente zusammen mit Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern aus den Bereichen Biochemie, Biologie und Medizin. Sie prüfen die Wirkungsweise pharmazeutischer Substanzen. Dabei arbeiten sie mit Tieren, Zellkulturen, Bakterien und Viren. Sie planen nach Anweisungen Versuche, führen diese selbstständig durch und protokollieren Versuchsverlauf und -ergebnisse. Ihr Arbeitsplatz ist in der Regel mit hochempfindlichen elektronischen Messgeräten ausgerüstet.
