Base Pay: $20.45 Hourly . SUMMARY: Drives and insures proper maintenance of an 18-wheeler, operates various other equipment as assigned. Performs routine maintenance support work. The employee is required to be on duty before, during, and after natural disasters and emergencies, as directed by the supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Regularly operates, inspects and loads 18-wheel tractor-trailer between stockpile yard and street repair locations. Operates a front-end loader, mower, backhoe, pneumatic roller and oil truck and other equipment as assigned. Maintains assigned vehicles in ready working conditions, including fuel, proper lubrication and cleaning. Sprays oil on road prior to paving.…
