ESSENTIAL TASKS The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Receives, transports, supervises and monitors the work of inmate workers and community service defendants participating in the respective programs from SC Department of Corrections, Solicitor’s Office, Magistrate Courts and Detention Center. Receives written and/or verbal instructions for the assignment of inmates and community service workers. Prepares and maintains reports of assigned activities and worker records. Provides training of crew members on the policies, procedures and laws that govern inmates pertaining to the Department of Corrections.…
