Department: Public Utilities About Our Job Are you someone with a background in electrical systems, pumps, maintenance, or equipment troubleshooting? Do you enjoy diagnosing problems, working with your hands, and keeping critical infrastructure running? Sarasota County is looking for a Lift Station Technician to help maintain and repair the equipment that supports our wastewater collection system. Not currently a Lift Station Technician? That's okay! We offer a two-year apprenticeship program that combines hands-on, on-the-job training with classroom instruction to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified Lift Station Technician.…
