About this role
As included on the ONET website for 39-9011.00 (Child Care Workers), the Child Care providers are to perform a variety of tasks/duties on behalf of the children within their assigned room. Providers will look after and spend time with preschool-aged children. Providers will help encourage and engage children in age-appropriate activities such as storytelling, singing, games, and guided play. Providers will read to children and guide them in simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs. Providers will help children follow daily routines, encourage good behavior, and maintain order by supervising children to ensure they are safe at all times.
