About this role
This position is in a cafeteria setting at the bustling James Madison University (JMU) college campus dining hall kitchens. The work environment is a full-service, industrial-grade kitchen equipped with modern appliances and tools typical of large-scale, cafeteria food service operations. Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes in full kitchens. Cooks will safely utilize a variety of utensils and equipment to prepare, store, and cook food such as: prep stations, ovens, grills, refrigerators/freezers, blenders, general food prep utensils and machinery found in your typical full-service kitchen, and storage units.
