The kinds of food the Food Service Workers will prepare consists of sandwiches, salads, and ice cream dishes. To prepare these food items, Food Service Workers will utilize standard kitchen equipment such as spoons, knives, slicers, stand mixers, stoves, ovens, and fryers. Food Service Workers will be making these food items both for individual orders as well as large batches used for grab and go stations.
The specific task involved in taking customer payments consists of checking out guests at the cash register in the cafeteria. To complete this task, Food Service Workers will utilize the Point of Sale (POS) machine. In addition to taking customer payments, Food Service Workers can occasionally take food orders which is done behind the cafeteria line.…
