About this role
Maintain vegetation control on utility rights-of-way. This is a full-time temporary job. Work is scheduled Monday-Saturday, 10 hours per day, with Sundays off unless weather prevents work. All work equipment, company t-shirts, and all safety equipment will be provided by the Employer at no cost to the Groundman. Company t-shirts and all safety equipment will be worn by the Groundman at all times while working. No education or previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. Groundman will use power mowers or edgers; or hand tools such as hand saws, brush trimmers, or axes to trim trees or other vegetation; or spray herbicide onto shrubs or trees using pre-filled backpack hand sprayers.
