This duty involves maintaining the grounds and outdoor surfaces of open-air quarry storage areas. Specifically, Groundskeepers will sweep and rake dirt, dust, and loose debris from the ground surfaces of storage areas; remove litter, brush, and waste materials that accumulate in and around storage areas; clear overgrown vegetation, weeds, and brush from around the perimeters of storage areas to keep them clean and accessible; and rake dirt ground surfaces within storage areas. Tools and equipment used to perform these tasks include brooms, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and trash receptacles.
