About this role

Responsible for the daily care, handling, and exercise of horses, including feeding, watering, grooming, bathing, and maintaining clean stalls and equipment. Prepares horses for training by tacking up, applying boots and wraps, and cooling them down afterward. Rides horses during morning workouts to build conditioning, assess performance, and support training plans. Adapt riding technique to individual horses and adhere to industry rules and weight requirements. Assists veterinarians and farriers by safely restraining horses during exams and hoof care. Monitors horse health, follows safety protocols, and communicates performance updates to trainers and owners. Split shift, 5:00am-10:00am; 2:30pm-4:30pm (Tuesday-Sunday), optional hours available on Monday, but not required.…
