“The kinds of laundry the worker will wash” are beach/pool towels and rags. These are typically sent out to a laundry facility, but housekeeping will occasionally wash some in-house to keep up with high-volume need.
“Room maintenance and deep-cleaning activities” – this consists of dusting baseboards behind furniture and under beds, wiping off scuffs on walls or doors, cleaning interior windows, dusting vents and valances in rooms, cleaning brass or silver finishes and fixtures; duties to be performed at least once per month. The tools/equipment used to perform these tasks are vacuums, brass polish/cleaner, dry-erase sponge, cloths, and general cleaning sprays and solutions.
