The snow removal duties are performed using shovels, snow shovels, push brooms, ice chippers, hand spreaders, backpack blowers, snow blowers, and similar hand tools and small equipment. Employees may also apply salt, sand, or ice melt products using hand-held spreaders.
**Original**
Keep buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalks and parking lots.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs for 75 yards, tolerate temperature extremes and outdoor work. Frequent bending and lifting.
