About this role
Duties may include: Under supervision of supervisor/crew leaders follow outlined landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. Haul and/or spread topsoil or straw over seeded soil to hold in place. Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools such as shovels, rakes, or hand tools. Install rock gardens, drainage systems, irrigation systems, and planters. Attach wires from planted trees to support stakes. Trim or pick flowers, clean and cultivate lawns, gardens, and/or flower beds using pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.…
