About this role
Duties may include: Care for established lawns by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, litter, leaves and debris. Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, plant bulbs, flowers, foliage, grass, ground covers, shrubs, and trees (attach wires and support stakes). Deadhead, prune, or trim flowers, foliage, plants, shrubs and trees. Maintain or repair fences. Provide proper upkeep to sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, or other grounds features. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruners, shears, and wheelbarrows. May operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as work trucks with small utility trailers, mowers, trimmers, edgers, pruning saws and leaf blowers.…
