About this role
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which include any combination of the following: Maintain lawns and beds, fertility maize, mow, weed, edging, raking, blowing, shovel, move wheelbarrows of mulch, and prune small trees and brush. Grading and preparing areas for planting. Installing and maintaining mulch, topsoil, and hydroseeding. Seasonal clean-ups, including leaf and debris removal. Operating a variety of hand tools (rakes, shovels, pruners) and gas-powered equipment (mowers, string trimmers, blowers, shears). Landscape laborers must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in various outdoor weather conditions and follow safety protocols.
