Meal preparation, laundry/clothing care, housekeeping/cleaning, and transportation are limited to childcare-related nanny duties for the children under the nanny’s care, and do not describe a cook, launderer, housekeeper, cleaner, driver, or chauffeur position.
Meal planning/preparation means planning, preparing, reheating, assembling, and serving age-appropriate meals and snacks for the children only. The worker may use ordinary household kitchen equipment, including refrigerator, sink, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, blender, pots, pans, utensils, cutting board, child-safe dishes, and dishwasher. The worker may perform basic cooking or reheating only as needed for children’s meals/snacks. The worker will not cook meals for the parents or household generally.…
