About this role
Responsible for attending to the overall care of horses. Duties include grooming, feeding, watering, bathing, cleaning out stalls, replenishing bedding, maintaining tack room, wrapping legs, pulling and braiding mane, storing supplies and feed, body clipping & supervised turnout. Groom will maintain and clean stalls & work area daily. Groom will observe and report horse’s physical condition daily. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds up to 100 feet. Groom will be responsible for the care of 1 to 5 horses at a time which will include tacking up & checking for correct fit of bridles, martingales, saddles & other equipment.
