Serving duties are performed as part of a customer service role within a counter service model, not table service. Customers place their orders and receive an order number. Once the food is prepared by the kitchen, the employee uses a speaker system to call out the order number, places the food on a tray, and sets the tray on a counter located outside a designated serving window. Customers then retrieve their food from this counter. At no point do employees deliver food directly to tables or engage in traditional table service. An electric range will be used to boil chicken, for use on pre-made sandwiches and salads. An electric countertop food warmer will be used to heat pre-made meat. A sandwich press will be used to press pre-made sandwiches.…
