About this role
Workers will be performing physical tasks related to the removal of snow and ice. This includes pushing, shoveling, moving, and cleaning snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots. Additionally, workers will be spreading salt, ice- melting solutions, and solids. Snow Removers will also maintain equipment, clean-up, and remove debris from job sites.
To remove snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots, the workers will push, shovel, move, and clear accumulated snow and ice, as well as spread salt and other de-icing products to improve traction and reduce ice accumulation. To perform these duties, workers will use snow shovels, snow pushers, ice scrapers/chippers, snow blowers, salt/sand spreaders, brooms, debris shovels, wheelbarrows, utility carts.…
