About this role
ATTENDS TO THE OVERALL CARE OF THOROUGHBRED RACEHORSES INCLUDING FEED, WATER, MAINTENANCE OF STALLS & TACK, CLEAN, BRUSH, EXERCISE, TRIM OF HORSES, DISINFECT STALLS & BEDDING. WILL LIFT LEGS AND CLEAN HORSES FEET AND APPLY LINIMENTS AND BANDAGES TO LEGS AS REQUIRED. WILL CARE FOR 1-5 HORSES AT A TIME. SPLIT SHIFTS 5-11 AM AND 3-5 PM. Days Off Rotates, workers will work 40hrs a week unless they decide to work overtime
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
