POSITION SUMMARY The Transmitter seeks a versatile Web Producer to manage article packages for online publication, update its award-winning website and coordinate email production. The Web Producer will work closely with the art staff in researching, acquiring and preparing visual assets for publication, with editors in assisting in the editorial workflow of the magazine and newsletter program and with web developers in coordinating website maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be a digital-savvy producer with good news and design judgment, professional communication skills, an interest in science and mastery of content management systems and media editing software. Experience in newsroom environments and familiarity with journalistic standards and ethics are a plus.…
