[What the role is] Global cruise industry has grown steadily in the past decade and is projected to continue its current growth trajectory for the next decade. Asia Pacific will be an important emerging cruise region contributing to this growth. As a leading cruise hub in the region, Singapore is well-positioned to capture a significant share of this. Being the sector lead and champion for Singapore’s cruise industry, there are many opportunities to be creative and initiate programmes that shape the industry as well as play a key role in transforming the landscape for Singapore.
