General Description The purpose of this class is responsible for the operation of heavy equipment to assist in the construction, repair and maintenance of county streets, drainage systems, beaches, and related infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities The functions listed below account for the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the class's work type as necessary. Operates and maintains road paving construction equipment, including rollers, loaders, tractors, dump trucks, backhoes, and water trucks.
