**Federal Work Study Only** The Biology Department’s Model Organism Kitchen is looking for an undergraduate assistant eligible for Federal Work Study during the 26-27 academic year to assist in producing critical growth media and other research materials to labs using the model organisms Drosophila melanogaster and Caenorhabditis elegans. The undergraduate assistant will be responsible for: Following protocols to make materials and reagents. Packaging materials for delivery. Making deliveries to participating laboratories. Washing and sterilizing glassware. Successful candidates must be able to learn and follow complex procedures, spot and address problems in quality control, and be comfortable using tools and equipment.…
