Job Summary Under the direction of the Landscaping Manager, the Groundskeeper is responsible performing routine maintenance and landscape tasks for Viejas property. Job Description • Operates vehicle and power equipment such as mowers, tractors, chain saws, rototillers, weed whips, trenchers, sod cutters, and backpack blowers to maintain the grounds of the casino and other surrounding properties. • Reports irrigation problems on property that needs attention. • Uses proper pruning techniques for trees, shrubs, and groundcovers. • Participates in special projects in the Landscape Department including design, installation, and maintenance. • Understands proper planting techniques for trees, shrubs, and flowers. • Uses proper landscape maintenance practices, for ornamental resort landscapes.…
