About this role
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for assembling boxes by hand and/or box machine; unloading unmade boxes from truck using forklift; and delivering to box room. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Move unmade box material from truck using hydraulic hand trucks (weight approximately 400 pounds) and then carry stacks of box material (5-7 boxes weighing 5-15 lbs). Lift unmade box material and place into bracket of box machine. Retrieve glue from supply room using dolly. Perform lockout/tagout when performing light maintenance, cleanup and removing crushed boxes.…
